Sunday, July 13 Welcome and Evening BBQ!   All day Arrivals at the airport and at Laurentian University.   Teams arriving by road should proceed to the Single Students Residence on the campus of Laurentian University.   Teams arriving by air on Sunday(and who have informed us of their arrival time) will be greeted at the airport by their Guide and bused to the University.   1200-1330 Lunch in the Great Hall   1330-1645 Free time for those who have arrived   1645-1830 Buses to Science North. The shuttle buses will run continuously until 1830.   1800-2300 Welcome Party at Science North - featuring an outdoor BBQ, lumberjack show, and some special guests!   2100-2300 Shuttle buses back to Laurentian. Buses will shuttle continuously.  
Monday, July 14 Opening Ceremonies   0700-0900 Breakfast at the Great Hall   0930-0945 Students are to assemble outside the Fraser Auditorium in preparation for the Opening Ceremonies   1000-1130 Opening Ceremonies Fraser Auditorium, Laurentian University, Guest of honour: Canadian astronaut Lt. Colonel Chris Hadfield   1200-1330 Lunch at the Great Hall   1330-1430 Rocket Launches at the Laurentian Athletic Complex (hosted by SNASA - Science North Aeronautics and Space Administration)   1430-1700 Physics Scavenger Hunt at the Laurentian Athletic Complex   1800-1930 Dinner at the Great Hall   1930-2030 Sudbury Regional Police K-9 Unit show at the Laurentian Athletic Complex   2030--> Quiet evening. Movies and games will be available in the Games Room in the Single Students Residence.    
Tuesday, July 15 Experimental exam   0630-0830 Breakfast at the Great Hall; Group 2 students should not come for breakfast until 0730 to allow Group 1 students time to eat before their exam.   0900-1130 Inco Mine tour: Group 2   0800-1300 Experimental Exam; Group 1 Ben Avery Gymnasium, Laurentian University Physical Education complex   1200-1300 Lunch in the Great Hall; Group 2   1300-1400 Lunch in the Great Hall; Group 1   1400-1900 Experimental Exam; Group 2 Ben Avery Gymnasium, Laurentian University Physical Education complex 1400-1700 Inco Mine tour: Group 1   1800-2000 Dinner at Laurentian University   1900-2300 Movies and activities in the SSR    
Wednesday, July 16 Science North Day   0700-0830 Breakfast at the Great Hall   0845-0915 Buses depart from the SSR for Science North and Big Nickel Mine. Science North and the Big Nickel Mine are 5 km (3 mi) apart; buses will be shuttling groups back and forth.   0900-1730 - See the shows and enjoy the exhibits at Science North. - Go underground at the Big Nickel Mine. - Fasten your seatbelts for five-storey high, 300 km/h Indy car racing in the IMAX film, Super Speedway. - Head for Mars in the Virtual Voyages motion simulator.   1200-1330 Lunch at Science North   1300-1600 Science North continued...   1600-1615 Buses return to Laurentian University   1600-1730 Sudbury Neutrino Observatory lecture Dr. Art MacDonald, Director, SNO Institute Fraser Auditorium, Laurentian University   1800-2200 Dinner with Sudbury host families. Each team and its guide will be picked up at the SSR by a local family who will take the team home for dinner. The host family will return the team back to SSR by 2200 h.    
Thursday, July 17 Theory Exam   0700-0845 Breakfast at the Great Hall   0900-1400 Theory Exam; All students; Ben Avery Gymnasium, Laurentian University Physical Education complex   1400-1530 Lunch in the Great Hall   1500-1800 Various recreational activities on the Laurentian campus   1730-2300 Ojibway powwow, BBQ dinner and beach party at Lake Nepahwin featuring the band "No Reservations"   2200-2400 Star party with the Sudbury Astromony Club.  
Friday, July 18 Outdoor fun!   0800-0930 Breakfast at the Great Hall   0930-1630 Day trip to Grundy Lake Provincial Park Activities include volleyball, swimming, frisbee, canoeing, hiking and more!   1230-1330 Lunch at Grundy Lake   1330-1630 Activities continue at Grundy Lake   1630-1730 Buses return to Sudbury   1800-1930 Dinner at the Great Hall   2000-2400 Much Music video dance party in the Great Hall  
Saturday, July 19 Free time/shopping   1000-1200 Brunch at the Great Hall   1100-1700 Shuttle buses will travel a route between Laurentian University, the City Centre Shopping Mall, the New Sudbury Shopping Mall, the Sudbury Gem and Mineral Show at the Carmichael arena, Science North, and Bell Park on Lake Ramsey;   Use the shuttle to go shopping, to enjoy the beach, or just to get into the city.   1800-1930 Dinner in the Great Hall   2000-2130 The Magic of Chemistry Science Show Fraser Auditorium, featuring the award-winning chemists of McGill University, Montreal   2130-2330 Movies and games at the SSR    
Sunday, July 20 INCO Awards Ceremony and Closing Banquet   1000-1200 Brunch in the Great Hall   1030-1300 Frisbee golf tournament, Laurentian University   1330-1415 Preparation for the INCO Awards Ceremony; all teams, leaders and guides will assemble at the Fraser Auditorium   1430-1600 INCO Awards Ceremony Fraser Auditorium, Laurentian University. Guest of honour: 1994 Nobel Laureate in Physics, Dr. Bertram Brockhouse, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario   1700-1800 Buses will depart from the SSR to take people to the Caruso Club for the Closing Banquet   1800-2400 Closing Banquet Caruso Club, Sudbury   2200-2400 Shuttle buses will run regularly between the Caruso Club and Laurentian University.    
Monday, July 21 Departures   0700-0900 Breakfast in the Great Hall   0700---> Shuttle buses to the airport & other departures
