Two blocks are connected by a string as shown below. The smooth inclined
surface makes an
angle of 42o with the horizontal, and the block on the incline
has a mass of 6.7 kg.
- Find the mass of the hanging block that will cause the system to
be in equilibrium.
- Find the tension in the string.
- Now replace the hanging block with another hanging block of mass
5.0 kg. Find the direction and magnitude of its acceleration.
