- Calculate the moment of inertia of a hoop of radius R and mass M about
an axis of rotation that is perpendicular to the plane of the hoop and
passes through its center.
- If the same total mass is made into a uniform disk of radius R,
will the moment of inertia be more than, the same as, or less than that of
the hoop?
