PHYS 1P96 - Physics for Scientists and Engineers II
Statics and dynamics of fluids; heat and thermodynamics; electricity and magnetism; basic circuits; geometric and wave optics; special topics in modern physics.

Course Format: Lectures, 4 hours per week; lab 2 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): PHYS 1P95 , or PHYS 1P91 in combination with one of MATH 1P01, MATH 1P05, or MATH 1P07, or permission of the instructor.
Course Notes: This calculus-based course is designed for students in the physical and engineering sciences and or future teachers at the I/S levels. Students may not concurrently register in PHYS 1P22 or PHYS 1P92. Materials fee required. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in PHYS 1P22 or PHYS 1P92.
