These are Greek Letters, Symbols, Subscripts and Superscripts, an excellent and extremely useful transparent GIF math symbol collection created by Karen M. Strom at the Amherst Campus of the University of Massachusetts. The names in the archive found here have been converted from the case sensitive UNIX tar.gz file to the .uc.gif and .lc.gif naming convention, to be compatible with file name case insensitive operating systems, such as Windows NT.
