(causes of motion) in one and two dimensions; rotational motion; work and energy; momentum; and conservation laws
What do I need to bring into the course?
- Course is designed for students without high school physics. Time will be taken to develop related mathematical skills.

- to develop math skills necessary for success in physics;
- to develop a mental framework for analyzing motion ;
- to gain experience in problem solving;

In-class quiz, every Monday (except Victoria Day May 18) from 11:00-12 noon, starting May 11. Please bring a non-graphing calculator.
Best 9 of 10 quizzes will count towards final grade. The Victoria Day quiz is rescheduled to Tuesday May 19. |

2 h Tutorials or labs will take place on alternate weeks in MCH200. 5 tutorials and 5 labs in total each worth 2%.
First tutorial will take place week of May 4-8. Check your personal schedule for your lab/tutorial time. Lab reports are due 24 h after lab.
